Poole Court is known for the beautiful building and pretty surrounding gardens, making it a charming choice for your registry office wedding ceremony in South Gloucestershire. It also just so happens to be a great backdrop for relaxed photos afterwards too. We are based just down the road in Downend, Bristol, so this one is very local for us.
Our one hour wedding photography package is £249 and is designed for weekday ceremonies and includes coverage from just before your ceremony through to group and newlywed photos afterwards. It’s all priced up in full below. It is a simple and affordable way to ensure the most important moments are captured by a trusted professional wedding photographer. We will arrive around 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony to photograph everyone arriving, along with a few little moments before you are called in. Then we capture the ceremony itself in full, including the all-important vows etc. Afterwards we’ll have time to take a few group photographs, if you would like, and then some natural, relaxed portraits of the happy couple in the grounds of Poole Court.
A few weeks later you will receive your edited photos in a beautiful and private online gallery to download and share. You can download all the images at the click of a button and easily share the password-protected gallery with friends and family. Copyright permission is also included, so you can use your photographs for personal use however you want. With our one hour registry office package, you’ll typically receive 100+ fully edited images to download, share and enjoy. You also have the choice to buy prints, photo books and more, but it’s all optional.

From 2026 South Gloucestershire Council have announced that Poole Court in Yate will no longer be available to be booked for marriage ceremonies (see the South Gloucestershire website for details). More information will be shared here when it becomes available from South Glos.
Our 1 hour wedding photography package is available exclusively for weekday ceremonies (weekends, bank holidays and other public holidays are excluded) at registry offices in Bristol City Centre (The Old Council House, Corn Street), South Gloucestershire (Poole Court, Yate) and Bath (The Guildhall, Bath). Each registry office has its own slightly different pricing due to travel time and parking costs. The ceremony must take place Monday to Friday at one of the registry offices listed.
Not sure if 1 hour is going to be enough? If you need just a little more time you can optionally add on extra photography for half hour (£75) or for an hour (£150). We also offer a more in-depth wedding photography service which provides 3 hours of wedding photography and can be extended, if you’d like.
Important note: Your professional photographer counts towards your total guest numbers. For example, if your ceremony room allows 10 guests, the photographer is included in that number. Please check capacities in advance as the register office may refuse entry if guest limits are exceeded.
