Wedding Booking Information
We make the booking process for your wedding photography as easy as possible. Quite simply, if you want to book us as your wedding photographers, please contact us with the date and location of your event and we’ll take it from there. We recommend sending us a message via our website or by email / text for the quickest reply.
When you contact us, we’ll check our diary for availability. We take on one wedding booking per day, so we recommend contacting us as soon as you’re able to check availability. No matter your wedding date, do get in touch to check if your date is free. Hopefully, we’ll be available and we’ll send you a link to our online booking form. Our wedding booking form can only be accessed with a special private link provided to you directly by us, so please contact us to check availability and secure your date.
Our booking process is very simple and completed fully online. It only takes two minutes to complete. We’ll need some basic information about your booking and we also require a £100 booking fee is paid at this point to secure your date. This is non-refundable. The rest of your balance is due one month before your wedding, when we’ll meet to discuss the specific details of your day and talk about your plans. We’ll take care of the final balance during this meeting and confirm if you want to add on any extra services – remember there’s no obligation or any pushy sales, but view our pricing to see what options we offer.
If you’re unsure how much coverage you want for your wedding, don’t panic. Everyone is booked on our entry level ‘basic’ package as standard, you can then decide to add on coverage or upgrade to a more advanced package at a later date. We’ll only need to confirm the amount of coverage you want when we discuss plans for your day, approximately one month before your wedding. We do this differently from a lot of wedding photographers. We’re aware not everyone knows right away exactly what coverage they want when they book, and may need to decide at a later date, and that’s fine by us.
We accept payment of your booking fee by Internet bank transfer or online via credit/debit card. This is all handled online so you can complete the entire booking process from the comfort of your own home. We can also take payments by card over the telephone by prior arrangement. If you’d like to make a booking in-person, please get in touch or make an appointment instantly online. Appointments at our Downend, Bristol studio are by appointment only, and optional.
We cover weddings all over the UK – for weddings more than 10 miles from our location in Downend, Bristol there will be modest travel costs. We always charge a very reasonable rate for travel and we’ll keep it as budget-friendly as possible. There may be a small charge for city centre locations or areas where parking charges apply. Please let us know your venue(s) for the exact price, if you’re unsure. Most popular wedding venues in Bristol and South Gloucestershire won’t require a travel fee, unless they’re city centre based.
Once your date is confirmed in the diary, we’ll be in touch nearer to the big day to organise the final details and discuss your requirements and answer any questions.
