The Gables Hotel in Falfield, just north of Bristol, is a venue we know well and genuinely enjoy returning to. It has a lovely welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff, and a location that makes it easy for guests to travel to and stay overnight. We have photographed lots of weddings here over the years, and it continues to be a popular choice for couples looking for somewhere both practical and picturesque.

The front of the hotel offers a lovely backdrop for family photos and portraits, and the gardens with their gazebo provide a peaceful spot for more relaxed photos. It is a well-run venue with plenty of space and helpful staff who go out of their way to make each wedding personal and memorable.

At West 70 Photography, we keep things simple. Our style is natural and candid – focused on real moments, not awkward posing. We know that most people do not feel totally comfortable in front of a camera, so we aim to put you at ease and let the day unfold as it should. Of course, we still include any key group photos you want, but we keep that part of the day running smoothly and efficiently so it never feels like a chore.

We are easy-going and professional, and want you to enjoy the day without having to think about the photography. We work quietly in the background and capture everything as it happens – with the occasional gentle direction when needed. Our glowing customer feedback reflects our easy-going, friendly approach to wedding photography.

Our pricing is straightforward. For £499 you get a professional photographer for three hours to cover the arrivals, ceremony, formal / family photos as well as the couples’ photos at The Gables. This price also includes a full online gallery with all your edited images to download, print and share with family and friends.

You will also receive a copyright permission notice allowing you to print and share the images freely for personal use. If you would like to extend coverage beyond the basic package, you can – but there is no pressure to do so. All pricing is clearly listed right here on our website, with no hidden costs.
