Book An Appointment – Headshots
Book your headshot session with West 70 Photography. Our headshots are straightforward, professional images taken against a clean white backdrop — ideal for CVs, LinkedIn, company websites, or whenever you need a reliable, no-fuss portrait. We offer quick mini sessions or full sessions depending on how much time you need. If you want simple, clear, and effective headshots, you’re in the right place.
To book, just select your appointment type from the options below, pick your preferred date and time, and provide a few brief details to complete your reservation. That’s all there is to it. If you wanted to book an appointment for our premium headshot service, this can be found separately here.
For all appointments, we securely hold credit and debit card details on file to confirm your booking, similar to a hotel or restaurant reservation. Your card won’t be charged unless you do not attend. Missed appointments will incur a £25 administration fee. You can reschedule your appointment up to 12 hours in advance. Full details will be in your confirmation email. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your appointment has been successfully booked. If you don’t receive this confirmation, please check your spam or junk folder. Without this confirmation your appointment is not secured in our diary, so please get in touch with us before attending. Your photoshoot will take place at West 70 Photography, 9 Cleeve Wood Road, Downend, Bristol, BS16 2SF. You can find directions on Google Maps, Waze, What3Words, Apple Maps.
There is free parking for up to two hours outside the studio, but it can take a few minutes to find a space during busy times, so please allow extra time. Local traffic may be heavy during rush hour. Bicycle parking is available, and the studio is close to bus routes and accessible on foot.
Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment to complete the booking process and get settled. Our staff will be on site about 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive earlier and the studio is not yet open, don’t worry, we may be finishing up with another client or preparing the space and will be with you as soon as possible.
You will receive an email confirmation once your appointment has been successfully booked. Please check your inbox and spam or junk folder for this confirmation. If you do not receive it, your booking is not secured in our diary, so please contact us before attending if you are unsure whether it has been successfully confirmed. If you provide a UK mobile number, you will also receive a text reminder one day before your appointment. Your contact details will only be used for appointment confirmations and reminders, and will not be used for any promotional purposes.
Headshot appointments vary in length: mini sessions last up to 10 minutes, while full sessions can last up to an hour. Appointments may finish earlier than the maximum time.
Our headshots use an ‘infinity cove’ white backdrop exclusively. All photos will have a clean white background with our standard lighting setup. You can view what’s included in our headshot photography. If you want a more creative or varied backdrop, please consider our premium headshot photoshoot, which must be booked in advance, via its own dedicated booking form, due to the specialist setup required.
For mini sessions, please arrive ready to be photographed in your chosen outfit, as time is limited. If your session runs over time, additional charges may apply.
For full sessions, a changing room is available if you want to bring outfit changes. These are optional and subject to time permitting during the shoot. Please bring anything you need with you. A unisex bathroom is available on site.
Your photoshoot may include sitting and standing poses. If you have mobility issues or special requirements, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate you. The studio is wheelchair accessible and can be prepared for your needs upon request.
Please share any special requests or inspiration photos when booking, so we can confirm if these can be accommodated. Requests made on the day cannot always be guaranteed, but we will do our best. We ask clients to review what is included with their chosen appointment type to avoid confusion. You can view what’s included in our headshot photography.
Payment is due at the appointment. If using a gift voucher, please bring it with you. We accept all major credit and debit cards but do not take cash or cheques.
A credit or debit card is required to confirm your booking. Card details are securely held to protect against missed appointments. Cards will only be charged if you do not attend without notice. Missed appointments incur a £25 administration fee and will be considered missed if you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting us.
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment online up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. For changes within 12 hours, please contact us via e-mail with your booking details. We appreciate timely communication about any delays or changes.
