If you’re looking for a special way to capture the spirit of the season, our Christmas family mini photoshoot sessions in Downend Bristol offer a wonderful, low-hassle experience. There is something so special about pausing the whirlwind of the run-up to Christmas to just be together and take some time to make some memories. Our photoshoot appointments are designed to capture those genuine, heartwarming moments and create some cherished family memories for you to look back on for years to come.
These are brief, 20 minute mini photoshoot appointments designed to keep things effortless and fun, running between 9am and 6pm across the weekend. Because we have a packed schedule, all appointment bookings must be made online in advance to secure your spot in our diary. With limited spaces available we recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your perfect appointment.
Step into our cosy studio and onto a proper, fully styled live set (no printed cloth backdrops here!). We’re building a real, immersive Christmassy space complete with a classic white background, with a festive tree, twinkling lights, wrapped gifts, cosy-soft blankets and more. It’s a warm and inviting space where you can relax and enjoy the moment with the people you love most – including your four-legged friends!
Our Christmas Mini Photoshoot Weekend is designed to be simple, fun and natural. Each 20 minute appointment gives us plenty of time to capture some relaxed, joyful portraits without taking up your whole weekend. You can come in as a family, or just bring the kids / dog along for their own little shoot. It’s entirely up to you – up to 6 guests are welcome at each appointment. Remember, this weekend is by appointment only so make sure you book in advance!
We keep things wonderfully flexible by focusing entirely on digital images – rather than forcing you into print bundles like most photographers. This gives you total digital freedom to use the images as you’d like. You can print what you like, wherever and whenever you like, with zero pressure to buy physical products from us. By being fully digital it gives you so much more freedom to use and enjoy the images. For those that would like it, we do offer print services if you’d prefer us to handle the hard work and have the best possible quality physical copies posted straight to your door.
Your beautifully edited digital images will be sent to you in a private online gallery within seven to ten days after your appointment. Because they’ll be ready with plenty of time before Christmas, they make wonderful, thoughtful gifts for the special people in your life, including parents, grandparents or loved ones near and far.
Please note that our Christmas Mini Photoshoot Weekend set is brand new for 2026, so our current sample gallery, below, shows our signature clean white studio style. Your photoshoot appointment will take place on our brand new, fully styled festive set. This is our first year offering the service in 2026, and appointments are strictly limited to one dedicated weekend (14th and 15th November 2026) – so make sure you book soon, as once they’re gone, they’re gone!

without the festive set dressing. Your photoshoot will take place on our brand new, fully styled Christmas set.
Bookings, Payments & Cancellations: All Christmas Mini Photoshoot payments are strictly non-refundable. Gift vouchers cannot be used to pay for Christmas Mini Photoshoots. Because these appointments take place on a specifically built festive set over a dedicated weekend, bookings cannot be rescheduled or refunded once payment is made. Please select your date and time carefully as it cannot be altered. If you fail to arrive for your appointment, your booking will be forfeit and no refund will be given. In the event of an emergency preventing you from attending, please contact us via e-mail with as much notice as possible. Refunds are not available even if you are unable to attend, for any reason.
Arrival & Session Structure: Please arrive at our studio in Downend a few minutes before your photoshoot is scheduled to begin (directions to us). If you arrive early we may be with another booking or getting things setup, so please bear with us. We will be ready for you at your scheduled appointment time. The Christmas Mini Photoshoot will last up to 20 minutes. Appointments are scheduled every 30 minutes (a 20 minute appointment with a 10 minute buffer for resetting the studio space) so please arrive promptly. We appreciate your consideration for other bookings by sticking to the 20 minute appointment time. Appointments may naturally conclude before the full amount of time has passed. Each Christmas Mini Photoshoot is limited to 6 guests maximum – guests are counted as an adult, child, baby or pet.
Studio Setup & What to Bring: Our Christmas Mini Photoshoots make use of our ‘infinity cove’ white backdrop, exclusively, which will be decorated with a heavily themed Christmas set dressing. Customers will need to arrive ready to be photographed, as changing outfits during your appointment is not possible due to the limited time frame. Customers are advised to bring their own outfits, festive wear, hats, scarves and any other specific clothes, props or toys they would like included in the photos. The set design will be a classic Christmas theme, with a white background as its basis and classic Christmas decorations with warm festive colours such as greens, reds, silvers and gold. We will provide the fully styled Christmas set but we do not provide any clothes or accessories. The set design is created entirely at our discretion and is not able to be altered. All photographs will be taken on the Christmas set during this Christmas Mini Photoshoots weekend, with no ‘standard’ alternatives available. If you’d like to book a photoshoot without Christmas theming this can be done online. During the appointment shoes will need to be removed while on the white backdrop to keep it tidy. Socks or bare feet are welcome.
Pets & Babies: Dogs are welcome to attend your Christmas Mini Photoshoot at your discretion. As every dog is different, please carefully consider if your dog is comfortable with a busy and fast-moving 20 minute studio environment. We cannot delay or extend appointment times for any guests that are unsettled (dogs, babies, children or otherwise). Any time lost due to behaviour will result in fewer photographs being taken and we are not under any obligation to extend appointments to accommodate for this. To keep the appointment times fair for everyone, all bookings will run for their allocated time. Newborn babies and babies who are unable to sit up unsupported will need to be held or supported by a parent or guardian during the appointment. Because these are 20 minute mini sessions, we are not able to offer styled newborn posing (such as beanbag posing or wrapping).
Packages & Upgrades: If you are unsure which option to book for your appointment, we recommend booking the ‘Xmas Mini Viewing’ package for £35. You can upgrade on the day to the ‘Xmas Mini Everything’ package by paying the £90 difference. This upgrade option is only available at the time of the appointment and will cost extra if done at a later date when viewing your images online. For those on the ‘Xmas Mini Viewing’ package, individual digital images can be purchased for £25 extra each, or you can opt for our package deals of 5x digital images for £99 extra, or all digital images for an additional £149. Customers booked on the ‘Xmas Mini Viewing’ will get to see a watermarked version of all their final images, and then be able to make their selection(s). Customers booked on the ‘Xmas Mini Everything’ package will have access to all final digital images. We cannot guarantee the number of final images provided to you, as this will vary with each session, but we’d imagine at least 20+ final images, with no set limit.
Galleries, Prints & Delivery: Images will be ready to view typically 7-10 days after the appointment, and viewing details will be sent to the email address provided during the booking. Please ensure this email is correct as it is how we will send you your image(s). Your online gallery will be available to view for two weeks from the date the images are ready, and an automated reminder will be sent to you before the gallery goes offline. It is your responsibility to login to the gallery within this time frame to select/download your photograph(s). Additional charges will apply for future access to your images. All images supplied are digital files, and physical prints are only available for images you purchase as a digital file first. Print orders have a minimum spend of £20 and will be posted directly to you. To ensure print orders arrive in time for Christmas, please make sure they are placed by Friday 4th December 2026. The final number of images provided may vary with each photoshoot, but we will always provide as many usable shots as possible and expect on average at least 20 images from each session.
