At West 70 Photography we are independently owned and local to the Bristol area. We are not a large, multi-million pound company – instead we are small business who love their work and want to share their passion with our customers. We have no sales goals and there are absolutely no pushy sales tactics to get you to spend. We want to you enjoy your studio portrait photography experience and you’re welcome to spend as much or as little as you like with no pressure to buy more than you want. That’s a guarantee.
Our pricing has been carefully worked out so that we give our customers far more than any other professional portrait studio photography companies in the area. We don’t price our services really low and then hit you with a big bill afterwards, far from it. We make sure all our pricing is available from the get-go, so you know our costs and can keep to budget. We’re not vague about our pricing, we don’t hide how much things cost or mislead you. It’s all on our website clearly laid out with no hidden costs or surprises. We want to be upfront and honest with you so you know exactly what you’re getting and can trust us. No gimmicks, just great images at a reasonable, affordable price.
Aside from our great value we also make sure that the finished product is something you will love. We supply you with the full high resolution digital JPEG files from your portrait studio photography visit (what’re digital images?) – we don’t limit you to tiny barely-useable prints or heavily watermarked images. You get JPEG‘s of your selected image(s) as standard. This way you can share it online, print it, do whatever you like for personal use. You don’t need to buy canvases, prints etc from us (although we do offer this service). You’re free to share your image(s) and use them how you see fit.
We cater to most budgets and requirements. Our website has our pricing available in full, as we’ve mentioned. We offer a few different packages, each offering it’s own benefit. We highly recommend visiting our studio pricing which has everything detailed in full. No hidden costs or funny business.
Our studio is a totally no-pressure environment. We don’t force you into spending or pressure you, it’s totally your choice. We’re happy to help and advise but the choice is always yours.
We make sure our professional service is relaxed and informal. We like to creative a comfortable atmosphere for your studio portrait photography experience. This means we ask if there’s any specific requirements and make sure you’re comfortable with the images we’re taking. We don’t rush you through on a conveyor belt type system, instead we make sure that we’re shooting images that you will love and that reflect who you are as an individual / family. No awkward images that you don’t want to take, that’s a promise. We keep things very relaxed and informal. We want to create natural, fun, lovely images that will be timeless. Our photographic studio is conveniently located in Downend, Bristol. Just a short distance from the M5, M4, M32 and the city centre of Bristol. There’s plenty of free parking right outside and we’re well connected to all the local bus/train/bike routes (need directions?). We are available to photograph you at our portrait studio around your schedule, we don’t have set opening hours – we operate by appointment only.
